New tour to Brookton

Hello again,

I have recently taken some customers out to Brookton for a tour of the countryside. We saw the most beautiful display of bright yellow canola fields stretching as far as the eye could see in places. This was contrasted by the deep green fields that have been well watered by our recent good rainfall. The journey is picturesque with these coloured fields being interspersed with rocky outcrops, rolling hills, tree lined roads, & lots of sheep.

I can honestly say that this trip is as good as any day trip around Perth for sheer beauty of countryside. And as abonus on the way home, we stopped in to buy some local fruit & vegetables from a local property, & the quality & value was excellent. The little town of Brookton itself is beautifully maintained with the historical railway station surrounded by lovely gardens & lawn area with tables & benches to sit at & have a nice lunch. There is also a water feature complete with waterfall, & a rotunda pavilion to sit under for shade if the sun is too hot.

This is a lovely day trip & on the way home, an alternative route can be taken to see the historic town of York also. We left at 10.00am, but to take in York I would recommend leaving at 9.00am to allow a little more time. We arrived home at about 4.00pm & all agreed it was a really great day out in the Perth countryside. Well that's it for now.

Bye
